Ingredients for Manisa kebab recipe are listed below:

Cup size:250 ml.

  • 1 and a half kg mixed ground beef and lamb
  • Half a water glass of breadcrumbs
  • 2 onions / grated and squeezed (don't use onion juice)
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 and a half teaspoons of red pepper powder

For the sauce:

  • 1 and a half tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper paste
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • Very little black pepper
  • Very little red pepper powder
  • 1 water glass of water

For servicing:

  • 7 small pita bread
  • Roasted tomatoes and green peppers
  • 1 and a half tablespoons of butter

How to make Manisa kebab?

  1. To make Manisa kebab recipe, firstly grate the onions and squeeze out the juice.
  2. Put the minced meat in a mixing bowl, add onion, breadcrumbs, and spices and knead for at least 6-7 minutes.
  3. Prepare thin and long strips of meatballs. Put the meatballs on the tray and leave them in the refrigerator for an hour to rest if possible.
  4. For the tomato paste sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan, add tomato paste, pepper paste, and spices, fry for a while, then add water and cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Grease and heat the pan. Flip and fry the meatballs.
  6. Take the pitas on plate and cut them into pieces. Drizzle the tomato sauce over them. Then, place the meatballs.
  7. Serve with roasted peppers and tomatoes.
  8. Finally, drizzle the melted butter on the top and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
