We will give you a delicious puff pastry recipe. Be sure to try it. You can also make this recipe without cheese. Ingredients for the puff pastry recipe is listed below:

Water glass size: 200 ml.

  • 2 eggs whites
  • 1 water glass of warm milk
  • 1 water glass of warm water
  • 1 water glass of oil
  • 10 gr. dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 6 water glasses of flour (add gradually)

For the inside:

  • Feta cheese or cheddar cheese
  • Parsley (optional)

For the top:

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons of oil

How to make puff pastry?

  1. To make the puff pastry recipe, whisk together egg whites, warm milk, warm water, oil, yeast, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Then, add flour and salt and knead for 5 minutes. Let the dough rest covered for 1 and a half hours (or run your oven at 50 degrees for 5 minutes and then turn it off. Let the dough rest covered for 45 minutes here)
  3. Flour the counter little. Knead the dough a little on the counter. Next, divide it into 20 meringues and roll them.
  4. Open them slightly with your hands. Put cheese and parsley mixture inside them. Next, roll them again.
  5. Lay the baking paper on the tray. Place pastries on the tray. Let them again rest for 45 minutes covered (or run your oven at 50 degrees for 5 minutes and then turn it off. Let the dough rest covered for 20 minutes here)
  6. Apply egg yolks and oil mixture over the rested pastries. Next, sprinkle sesames with them.
  7. Bake in a 185-degree oven until golden brown.
