INGREDIENTS

For the dough:

  • 4 water glasses of flour
  • 1 medium size egg
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 and a half water glasses of water

To lubricate the inside:

  • Mixture of 50 g butter and 50 g oil
  1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl and knead a soft dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal meringues.
  3. Roll out each meringue with the help of a rolling pin and grease every part of them with a mixture of butter and oil.
  4. Fold them in a D shape. Cut them into 2 finger-wide strips. 
  5. Wrap the strips in the shape of roses as in the figure. 
  6. Flour the counter and roll out new meringues with the help of a rolling pin.
  7. Cook both sides of katmers in a cast iron pan and grease them while hot.
