INGREDIENTS

For the dough:

  • 3 water glasses of flour
  • 1 water glass of water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vinegar 

For the inner material: 

  • 300 g. minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 1-2 green peppers
  • Some parsley
  • Oil ( To fry)
DIRECTIONS

1. Knead the dough by mixing flour, salt, vinegar, and water.

2. Cover the dough with a moist duster and let it rest for 20-25 minutes.

3. Finely chop the onion, garlic, tomato, parsley, and green pepper. Add all chopped materials into minced meat and mix. Then, add salt and black pepper and knead the inner material well. If the juice of the tomato is not enough, add some water to obtain an aqueous consistency.

4. Take pieces a little bigger than walnut size from the dough and roll out them with 20-25 cm.

 

5. Put the inner material into each dough piece and close them in the letter D form. Press the edges well to make the dough stick.

6. Put oil in a deep pan and heat it. Fry the pieces, drain the excess oil, and serve.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The inner material must be juicy. Otherwise the minced meat will be lumpy in the pastry.
